My Princess Worm

October 16, 2009 at 4:26 pm (Uncategorized)

I ever had Sony Ericsson w550i. And I called her name with ‘My Princess Worm’. Why did I call her with ‘My Princess Worm’? Because she had game of Worms, people very like it and me too. I love her so much. I don’t know why. Maybe, because of she had a unique shape. She had a funny chasing with her color is like blue sky and white, and had picture of ‘Penny Petty’.

She always accompany me in light and dark. When I was feeling sad, she always entertain me. So that, I was so sad when she disappeared from my hand, she was stolen by robbers. I was so frustrated until I couldn’t forget about their face, their gaze, and their behavior.

And now, I’m so miss her. I feel want to scream, “I WANT MY PRINCESS WORM COME BACK !”, but I know that can’t make her come back.

My pomeranian

October 16, 2009 at 3:59 pm (Uncategorized)

Pesek is my beautiful white Pomeranian puppy. His true name is escada, he has flat nosed so that is why I called him pesek. He spends most of his time indoors lying, run, and growing fat.  He seems like a tiny lion, his hair get groom every week.  Pesek is as finicky about visitors as he is about what he eats, befriending some and repelling others. He may snuggle up against your ankle, begging to be petted.  Pesek does not do this to establish his territory, as many dog experts think, but to humiliate me because he is jealous of my friends. After my guests have left, I smiling to himself in front of the television set, and I have to forgive him for his obnoxious. I love you my pesek. 😀

My Holiday

October 10, 2009 at 8:41 am (Uncategorized)

Holiday?? I don’t know what i want to say about my Idul Fitri holiday. Because that’s not like a holiday. Actually, my family and I planned to go to our hometown, Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. Every Idul Fitri Day we always, and must, go to there to celebrating that day. My big family are in there. So, it’s like a ritual for us to go to hometown. But, for a reason we couldn’t do that. The reason was my job. I couldn’t absent from my job. 2 weeks holiday, i just spent my time for working.

I just got holiday at 22th September, in Idul Fitri day. The day after that, i must worked and never stopped for a week. What a tragic holiday! I couldn’t go to my other family’s house who is live near my house to celebrated Idul Fitri day until I got a free time. Really sad story.

So, what did i do inside my sadness holiday? I just could imagine my hometown and my old friends. I was in there, see my hometown which is almost one year i’ve never seen. And played with my old friends, people who is beside me until i grow up. Just it. And I just could see pictures of my hometown from television. Unfortunately, the television did’nt show the beautiful of West sumatra, but the pictures show me how damaged my hometown after earthquake. I just can hope this is the last time i can’t celebrating Idul Fitri day and i wish the best for my hometown. Amin…

Californian_Fruit_Salad rujak_buah

American fruits salad and Indonesian fruits rujak

There are some differences and a similarity between American fruits salad and Indonesian fruits rujak such as the kind of fruits, the sauce and the serve.American salad mostly combined by many kind of sweet fruits like grape, strawberry, orange and etc as the main ingredients. In indonesian rujak usually use more variation fruits between sweet and sour taste like papaya,mango,rose-apple,star fruit, pineapple, kodondong, bengkoang and melon.Beside that, the American salad always include mayonnaise-based sauce, yogurt or mustard as a dressing and that’s why the taste is yummy(mixed between sweet and sour). In Indonesian rujak, it use peanut sauce as a dressing and the sauce usually use chilly so that, the taste is hot(it would make we want to eat again and again for people who love hot).Anyway, people in America or in Indonesia serve salad or rujak as an appetizer, dessert or even snack in their free time. It’s so delicious and health food to eat but, however i think Indonesian rujak is the best for me.How about you?… mayonaise rujak

Balanced Self-Confidence by:Dewi

June 11, 2009 at 2:24 pm (Uncategorized)

Tip: Balanced Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is about balance. At one extreme, we have people with low self-confidence. At the other end, we have people who may be over-confident.

If you are under-confident, you’ll avoid taking risks and stretching yourself; and you might not try at all. And if you’re over-confident, you may take on too much risk, stretch yourself beyond your capabilities, and crash badly. You may also find that you’re so optimistic that you don’t try hard enough to truly succeed.

Getting this right is a matter of having the right amount of confidence, founded in reality and on your true ability. With the right amount of self-confidence, you will take informed risks, stretch yourself (but not beyond your abilities) and try hard.

So how confident do you seem to others?

Your level of self-confidence can show in many ways: Your behavior, your body language, how you speak, what you say, and so on. Look at the following comparisons of common confident behavior with behavior associated with low self-confidence. Which thoughts or actions do you recognize in yourself and people around you?

Self-Confident Low Self-Confidence
Doing what you believe to be right, even if others mock or criticize you for it. Governing your behavior based on what other people think.
Being willing to take risks and go the extra mile to achieve better things. Staying in your comfort zone, fearing failure and so avoid taking risks.
Admitting your mistakes and vowing to learn from them. Working hard to cover up mistakes and praying that you can fix the problem before anyone is the wiser.
Waiting for others to congratulate you on your accomplishments. Extolling your own virtues as often as possible to as many people as possible.
Accepting compliments graciously. “Thanks, I really worked hard on that prospectus. I’m pleased you recognize my efforts.” Dismissing compliments offhandedly. “Oh that prospectus was nothing really, anyone could have done it.”

As you can see from these examples, low self-confidence can be self-destructive, and it often manifests itself as negativity. Self-confident people are generally more positive – they believe in themselves and their abilities, and they also believe in the wonders of living life to the full.

The Popular Mall in Jakarta

June 10, 2009 at 1:39 pm (Uncategorized)

Jakarta is a town with many malls. From the new malls until the old malls. For examples, Taman Anggrek Mall and Citraland Mall. They are the old malls in Jakarta. But, they have similarity in same location but they have differences too in the guest and the products in that Mall.

Taman Anggrek Mall and Citraland Mall are located in Grogol. But, from the guest Citraland Mall always be visited by teenagers and children. But Taman Anggrek visited by all ages. Maybe because Taman Anggrek’s product and Citraland’s Products is different. Taman Anggrek’s product is relative expensive than Citraland’s. Besides, Citraland has many childrens and teenagers complexities than Taman Anggrek. That’s why Taman Anggrek and Citraland has different guest although in same location.
